  13. I spent yesterday nite getting nntpd to run on my Amiga. Now I
  14. can connect and check the non-existent messages in e.g.
  15. comp.sys.amiga.programmer.
  16.  
  17. Now I would have to get the mail somewhere. The docs just
  18. say "have yourself added to some list on your nntp host". Well,
  19. I am allowed to connect to a news server, but I guess that's
  20. about it.
  21. The docs further detailed two programs, the one non-working
  22. at the time of writing (working now?), the other from Michael
  23. van Elst slow, but working. Okay, I tried MvE nntpget, but
  24. I don't really know how to tell it to only get new news.
  25. I can provide a "since" option, but I thought that the nntpds deal
  26. with that, what do I need it for in the first place ? And where
  27. should I have nntpget put the news, or better, how do I 
  28. feed it directly to nntpd ?

  31. If multiple people were so kind and help me, I'd post
  32. my (working) setup afterwards, to help others.
